Quick guide

  1. Pick the size required by your document (3 × 4 cm is the most common in Vietnam).
  2. Pick a background colour (white for CCCD, light blue for passport).
  3. Drop your photo. It will be auto-cropped to the right aspect ratio and resized to print-ready pixels.
  4. Print at the chosen physical size at any photo shop, or attach the JPG to your online form.

A note on framing

For best results, take the source photo with your face centred and clearly visible — auto-cropping centres the image but cannot recompose a poorly framed shot. If the source has a busy background, run it through a background remover first, then return here and select "Transparent" so you can add the standard background colour cleanly.

Frequently asked questions

Which Vietnamese documents need which size?
3 × 4 cm: CCCD, học bạ, sinh viên, hồ sơ thi. 4 × 6 cm: hộ chiếu, một số hồ sơ chính thức. 2 × 3 cm: bằng lái xe, một số biểu mẫu. Always check the specific form for the exact size required.
What background colour should I use?
CCCD and most school documents require a plain white background. Vietnamese passport photos require a light blue background. The tool fills your photo with that colour where the original is transparent — for solid-colour replacement, use a dedicated background remover first.
Is the photo uploaded?
No. The resize happens in your browser. Photo data never reaches a server.
Will the result look good in print?
Yes. The output uses pixel dimensions appropriate for printing at typical DPI (≈ 254). Open the file in any photo lab tool and print at the size you chose.
